Accessing MARC Records for Your Gale Resources

Gale MARC and ASCII records with InfoMarks™ are updated every month to ensure currency and accuracy. To learn more about MARC and ASCII files, go here. For the eBook MARC records, go here.

Our periodical MARC records are now created by Serials Solutions and can be accessed through Gale Admin. Serials Solutions is a well-established partner that helps improve access to and use of collections, eases librarian workloads and reduces operating costs. They are experts at getting users to the information they want and are well suited to handling the unique complexity of periodical records.

Instructions on how to access your periodical MARC records through Gale Admin:

  • Log into your Gale Admin account
  • Click on the "Discover Services" tab on the left-hand sidebar
  • Click on "Request" MARC records
  • Choose your delivery options and clicks submit
  • You will receive an email confirmation and a link to your MARC records within in a few minutes when they are ready for download
